Who We Are

Tailored Creatives was started in January of 2020, right before the world went into chaos with Covid-19. It was a hobby for owner Taylor Shannon, simply because she loved helping small businesses succeed and staying busy.

Well, you can guess the story after that. A few clients turned into a a handful due to referrals and a business was born!

Owner Taylor moved to New Bern from Northeast Ohio when her sister had moved there six months prior to live with her boyfriend (now husband) stationed at Cherry Point. He deployed shortly after her move and she needed her sister so she came running (or driving 10+ hours in a UHaul). The residency was only supposed to last 10 months, but she fell in love with the storybook town of New Bern and made it her permanent home.

Within 5 years, she developed relationships within the community while volunteering for cancer nonprofit organization New Bern Get Your Pink On, Christmas Festival Beary Merry Christmas and MumFest.

Helping the local businesses, both small and large became a passion largely due to the personal relationships developed along the way.
